Gabrielle Union Gets Set To Launch A Hair Care Line at Ulta

Gabrielle Union is getting ready to launch a hair care line at Ulta Beauty stores on April 16. It’s called Flawless by Gabrielle Union, and she is more than just the brand’s “face” – she’s part-owner.

The 44-year-old actress tells WWD, “For me — having skin in the game — it deepens the connection. It makes me work a lot harder than if I was just a hired gun. I want to make sure that it’s right for me, for my family, for my friends, and for every person with textured hair. I want to have a seat at the table, and part of that is having ownership.”

The line includes 10 products, including a shine spray and blow dry cream, priced at $19 – $29.

Other celebrities with beauty brands include Jessica Alba, co-ounder of Honest Company and Drew Barrymore, founder, co-owner and creative driector of Flower Beauty. Jennifer Aniston was an owner of Living Proof hair care until Unilever acquired the company last December.
